Problem: Too many employees don’t know what days they get off WITH PAY!!!!!

Example: The day after Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are days money can be made and usually is. Everyone comes in for that triple time. Money for Christmas or the Holidays. I get it, but I play the long game. Below is my thinking about this holiday.

Opinion: There is plenty of money to be made during “peak”. One day of triple pay isnt’ going to make that much of a difference once the taxes come out. I don’t have a price when it comes to time off with my family. I take the time. What some need to realize is at some point they eventually will eventually take this holiday from us, meaning that one day you will have to work the day after Thanksgiving and New Year Eve. When that happens, there is no reason to pay triple time anymore. It will become the normal day. It’s there, use it! Enjoy the time off. I will finish by reminding those with the attendance problem about how you get called in the office for taking too many sick days. So with that in mind, here is a Holiday. A holiday you are excused from work. A day you get paid. And it is four (4) straight days off. I have nothing else to add to this section.
